Terms of service.

hdb.io is in early access. Things will break. Modules will be missing. The data model may shift, with migrations applied automatically. We will not lose your data, but it would be unwise to rely on hdb.io as your sole record for anything legally important during this period.

Don't use hdb.io to store other people's data without their consent. Don't upload illegal content. Don't try to extract data outside your household. Don't abuse magic-link sign-in. Don't run automated bots against the API beyond reasonable rate limits.

You own everything you put into your household. We get a limited licence to store it, render it back to authorised members, and back it up. We do not use your content to train models, market third-party products, or generate insights for anyone other than you.

You can close your account any time and export everything. We can suspend accounts that violate acceptable use; outside that, we will not delete your account without notice.

hdb.io is provided as-is during early access. No express or implied warranty of fitness for any specific purpose. Liability is capped at fees paid to us in the previous 12 months, which is currently zero, because billing is not on yet.
